Born-Denton, Texas  Feb. 28, 1929  Moved to Ft. Worth at age five. 

Junior High (Middle School) Drop Out in seventh grade. Age 13.

World War II had begun two years earlier. In Adult work world to age fifteen.

Three days after I turned fifteen I joined the US Navy. Had 16th birthday on Saipan. An island in the South Pacific.

Discharged after three years in the service. Married at age 17 and a half.

Never been to church, atheist. (Navy question: "Are you a Catholic or a Protestant?" " What's the difference?" "You're a Protestant.")

Saved at age 22 at the Morningside Baptist Church, Ft. Worth, Tx.  Now the Hallmark Baptist Church

Called to Preach at age 25. Graduated BBC Springfield, Mo.  1958.

Established three churches.  Grace Baptist in Fair Oaks, Ca. Oct. '58- Faith Baptist in Riverside, Ca. '62

And Calvary Baptist Church in Roy, Wa. in 1983- Retired Pastor Emeritus in 2005     www.cbcroy.org
